Title: Blog 1 – Senior Final Lesson/Interview Reflection

 1.  What three lessons were most helpful for you to see, and why?
  • The first lesson I went to was Entrepreneurship and it was helpful to me because it taught me how to effectively start a business from the ground up. Meaning the basics of what you need to start a business.
  • The second lesson I went to was Dance and it was helpful to me because it taught me better skills and how to improve for when I'm on dance team next year.
  • The third lesson I went to was Early Childhood Development and it was helpful to me because it taught me the do's and don'ts of raising a child and how to raise them to live and work to their fullest potential.

2. List one thing that you learned about the senior project in interviews that will help you get off to a good start?

  • One thing I learned about senior project that will help me get off to a good start is time management. Basically to not fall behind because it will take a lot to catch up. Also, when there is deadlines for assignments to make sure you do them a few days before they are due so you're not doing them the night before. And the most important to turn everything in on time.

3. What topic(s) are you considering, and why?

  • The topic that I am doing my senior project on Law, specifically criminal prosecutor. I chose law because I have wanted to pursue it since I was little and it's a passion of mine. Being a prosecutor is hard work and I want to be the one to say I put the bad guy away.

4. What EQ do you think might be interesting to consider in guiding a project like this? (Please don't worry about any sort of formula...we want this question to come from your genuine interest).

  • What is the most cognitive senior topic that will give you the best information to allow you a rewarding senior year?

5. What are some ideas you have about finding summer mentorship?

  • I currently have a mentor for my topic in law but I started off by writing a letter about what senior project is, what I would need them for throughout the year, and why I want them to be my mentor. When I sent out the letter I just readdressed it to whoever I was sending it to. My current mentor for summer is a Litigation Attorney.
